I was there. I have to tell you … Bernie Scheffler was far and away the best prepared, the most thoughtful, the most credible and the most successful speaker of the night. The surprisingly large crowd was in his corner. I heard more people than I can count say that Bernie is “genuine”. That’s a fact, Jack. You can’t fake what Bernie has – true passion for his city. Go get ‘em, Bernie. I think you surprised a bunch of people tonight – and won a bunch of votes.
