I would love to have all of you guys out to the Modern for a tour of the exhibition. I know its a lot to take in, but I would be happy to answer any questions and I know I would get a lot out of the conversation to be had. Anyways the invitation stands anytime.

Your podcasts are becoming predictable with introductions always being clockwise or counterclockwise. Next time you do introductions, you should acknowledge the panelists in, as the Australians say, anticlockwise order.

I think next time I’ll force the guys to play quarters before the show, and I’ll introduce them in the order they puke, from last to first.

Ye who don’t get Rothko, don’t despair; heed the advice of Pete G and Steve-o, and get thee to the Rothko Chapel at the University of St Thomas in Houston.
It is a moving experience; I liked Rothko before seeing it, but it literally moved me to the brink of tears. Those paintings breathe… they’re literally alive.
I think there’s something super special about the fact that the paintings and the chapel were designed for each other… neither would be remarkable without the other. Just check it out, and I assure you that you’ll have a new appreciation for what Rothko was trying to accomplish.
And his buddy Newman wasn’t too shabby either.
